For the First Time in Qatar, Customers can Purchase Vodafone Red Vouchers through Mobile Phones

Doha Bank in Collaboration with Vodafone Qatar in announced today the extension of their joint services to a newly launched smart channel.

Vodafone Qatar and Doha Bank already has a long standing relationship and a major partnership agreement, which spans real time debit transactions, Doha Bank ATM recharge and Online banking for Vodafone subscribers and Doha Bank customers.

With the launch of the new Doha Bank Mobile Banking Application, Doha Bank have incorporated comprehensive services and valuable e-commerce ingenuities to offer greater convenience to customers. With Vodafone a valued partner, Vodafone Red recharge Vouchers have now become available for purchase for the first time ever in Qatar using the Doha Bank mobile banking application.

This comes in line with the strategic course that Doha Bank and Vodafone have mutually decided to in aligning and integrating the Telecom Business with the Banking Industry. With 80% of the world’s population and nearly 3 billion people estimated to have a mobile phone in the upcoming 5 years, Doha Bank as is customary has been a forerunner in offering its expertise for the mobile Telecom Industry. It is correspondingly in perpetual developments to enrich the mobile experience with banking and e-commerce facilities, knowing that there is no technology aside from mobile telephony that is reaching maturity at such a rapid rate.
